There's so much happening on the farm, that I'm going to send 2 June newsletters (and it's still May). here's the first installment. I'll try to keep it succinct.

IT RAINED! (and we have passed our last frost date) This brings great joy and relief to us farmers, and to all the plants that are in the ground.
PRAIRIE PLANTS AND OTHER PLANT SALES - We are ready to send plants home with you!!! Plant sales | Mustard Seed Community FarmWe have started many prairie seeds, and the first batch of seedlings are ready to go out and have their adventures in the real world, and dig their roots deep into the earth. We will be at the AMES DOWNTOWN FARMERS MARKET for the next 5 weeks, and we also have a nifty order form and inventory sheet. Go to this page on our website to see more. We are also having 2 workdays next week at slightly different times in an attempt to meet the scheduling needs of other people:TENTATIVE SUNDAY WORKDAY - 5/25, 1-4PM. We actually need some leaders to make this workday happen. Alice and Nate have to have band practice (so you can be serenaded by the band), but this worktime will only happen if someone signs up to help lead.
