the ART SHOW WAS FANTASTIC!

our art show was a fantastic success! here's a few pictures from our opening night. and a link to the article in the Ames Tribune.

I feel so incredibly grateful to be part of this amazing team of artists. It’s been so fun co-creating this art show and event with you all! I think we did a good job. Even if nobody else came to our art show, I would still feel like this group of 20 artists – poets, writers, musicians, quilters, weavers, painters, photographers, satellite imagers – we still had a profound conversation about climate change, food, farming, ecology, mutual aid, justice, dignity, and the interconnectedness of our human and planetary struggles and solutions. I’m grateful for you all. And it wasn’t just us – they were more than 80 people at our opening event! And I kept hearing from so many people that visited the show in their own time – or just bumped into it as they went to Harvest Vineyard for church, meetings, daycare, pickleball, beginning farmer conferences…
